On 18th october I watched the sun rise over the sea at scarborough.
Sister B and Nephew B rounded me up at 4:00 am and we headed off in her car.
We’re all drawn to water. Being near the sea, or a lake or a river and listening to the sound, watching the waves. Nighttime drives to decompress are a routine method of getting out of wonky headspace.
So we longed at scarborough not long after five, headed to marine drive and parked up.
Bacon sandwiches from the greasy spoon helped enormously
